Kuwait's oil minister, Essam Al-Marzouq, said on Wednesday that OPEC and non OPEC oil producers could discuss all options this week, including further cuts and extending the existing production agreement A year
"All options are still available ... we will submit our recommendations to the Council of Ministers tomorrow," said Marzuk, who asked whether the option included further cuts and extended the agreement for a year.
OPEC member states will meet in Vienna on Thursday to consider whether to extend the cut-off agreement reached in December. OPEC member states and 11 non-OPEC oil producers, including Russia, agreed to cut production by about 1.8 million barrels per day in the first half of 2017.
