The coalition agreement eliminated the risk of a re election, which led to a sharp sell-off in Italy's financial markets this week.
The leaders of the Northern Alliance and the five-star movement agreed to replace the original nominated Optima Minister of economics, which was rejected by the president.
After several hours of consultations in Rome, the five star movement leader Dimallo (Luigi Di Maio) and the northern alliance leader Salvini (Matteo Salvini) issued a joint statement saying, "all the conditions of the five star movement and the union of the Northern Alliance have been met."
Giuseppe Conte, who nominated their prime minister, submitted a cabinet list a few hours later. This is Kong Te's second degree authorization in eight days. He was originally a little-known law professor, and he had never been elected to politics or any party member of either party.
"We are determined to improve the quality of life of all Italians," Kong Te told reporters after meeting with Italy's president Mattarella. Kong Te has a close relationship with the five star movement.
His cabinet will be sworn in on Friday. Next week, the government will face a vote of confidence in the house of Commons.
