British Home Secretary Jia Weide (Sajid Javid) said on Sunday that Britain will have a very good policy proposal to retreat from Europe to prepare for the EU leaders' meeting this month. He also said that the European Union is expected to have a positive response.
A newspaper report said that if a withdrawal agreement could not be reached with the European Union, there would be an immediate shortage of medicine, fuel and food. Jia Weide refutes the report.
British Prime Minister Teresa May (Wen Cuishan, Theresa May) is still searching for a post - European tariff agreement to negotiate with the European Union, as Britain's March 2019 plan to retreat into the countdown. The tariff issue after the withdrawal of Europe is the biggest stumbling block in the European consultation.
Ireland said on Saturday that Teresa May had two weeks to plan, but her cabinet disagreed, and EU officials were dismissive of the draft discussion in the UK.
Jia Weide said that before the 28-29 summit of June, the ministerial discussions on the unified position were progressing well.
"I am absolutely confident that in the June meeting, the prime minister will have a reliable set of proposals, and our European colleagues will respond positively," Jia Weide told the Broadcasting British Corporation (BBC).
He said that these proposals will be consistent with Teresa May's previous statement, and a white paper on policy will be issued before the summit.
