China's consumer price index (CPI) rose year-on-year and ring-on-year in September as the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day boosted food prices. Analysts generally believe that although the CPI has maintained a rising trend, but in the context of economic downturn pressure is still large, domestic demand is not strong, imported price pressure is difficult to sustain, follow-up CPI and PPI are expected to show a downward trend.
