According to the Russian news agency reported on February 13, Putin and Belarusian President Lukashenko held talks in Sochi on the 13th. During the talks, the two decided to take a break and go skiing at the local ski resort.

After the two presidents put on ski wear, they appeared on the hillside, which surprised the visitors of the ski resort. Putin and Lukashenko tried two blue ski runs, each about 1,000 meters in length, and the two skied together for nearly an hour.

Putin praised the quality of the ski resort and had a conversation with a visitor. Tourists asked Putin, "Which is better for (double board) skiing and snowboarding?"

“(Shuangban) skiing is more elegant,” Putin replied.

Putin was also asked by tourists "whether he tried snowboarding," he said. "No, maybe it will be tried next time."

In addition, Belarusian President Lukashenko said that he has slipped through the snow along the road in Sochi and called Sochi "home." Lukashenko explained that there are two hotels and residences belonging to Belarus in the mountains of Sochi.
