In the new bill, Teresa May hopes that parliamentarians can support her to change some of the terms of the Brexit agreement. According to the BBC news website, Teresa May previously expressed the hope that the European Union will renegotiate the Brexit agreement and propose a new proposal for the Brexit agreement. The veto of the new bill may seriously affect Teresa May’s credibility in negotiating with the European Union because she is currently unable to get the support of the British Parliament.

After the meeting announced the results of the vote, the leader of the British opposition Labor Party, Jeremy Corbin, said: "Two weeks ago, the Prime Minister told the parliament that her new method could obtain a substantial and sustainable majority in the parliament. Obviously, she failed.” Corbin then called for him to work with the Prime Minister to avoid a non-agreement to leave the EU.
