British Engineer Cobbam will pay an extra 160 million pounds ($206 million) to settle a dispute with Boeing over the delayed KC-46 air refueling program.
Cobham, Britain's third largest defence and aerospace group, lagged behind Rolls Royce and BAE Systems, which said the fee included 86 million to settle disputes and 74 million in additional fees to complete the reserved KC-46 contract.
Cobham is known for its air-to-air refueling technology and has been recovering since a series of profit warnings forced it to enter a stock offering in 2017.
In 2018, the recovery of 40 million pounds in fees was interrupted due to problems with Boeing's refueling plan, which led to a 10% drop in share prices on that day.
