Fitch said Wednesday that it may downgrade the UK's "AA" credit rating as talks between the UK and the EU become increasingly uncertain about Britain's withdrawal from Europe next month.
In a statement, Fitch said, "Fitch believes that the withdrawal of the UK from Europe without an agreement will cause significant damage to the UK's economic and trade prospects, at least in the short term."
