President Donald Trump said Sunday that he would postpone U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods due to "fruitful" trade negotiations, and if progress continues, he and Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold talks to reach an agreement.
After a week of negotiations that were extended to the weekend, Trump said the tariffs would not rise now. In his tweet, he said progress had been made in the areas of division, including intellectual property protection, technology transfer, agriculture, services and currency.
