Facebook Inc. (FB.O), a social media giant, said Wednesday that some users around the world could not use its Instagram, Whatsapp and Facebook applications, the longest disconnection in recent years.
Facebook Inc told users on Twitter that it was trying to solve the problem as soon as possible, but also confirmed that it had nothing to do with the company's DDoS attacks; some users could not connect to these applications for more than 10 hours.
According to DownDetector's immediate disconnection map, community users in parts of the United States, Japan and Europe were affected by the disconnection.
