Removal of 01 Rolling Bearing
The disassembly of rolling bearing is one of the important disassembly contents in mechanical maintenance.
The disassembly must follow the basic rules of bearing disassembly and assembly, and different disassembly tools and methods should be adopted for different bearings.
If the bearing needs to be used again after disassembly, the force applied during disassembly can never be transferred through the rolling element.
For separated bearings, the bearing rings together with the rolling cage assembly can be disassembled separately from the other bearing rings.
When disassembling non-separable bearings, the bearing rings matched with clearance should be disassembled first, and the interference fit bearings should be disassembled. Different tools should be used according to their types, sizes and matching modes.

_Mechanical Drawer

When disassembling smaller bearings, the side of the bearing ring can be lightly tapped by a suitable punch to remove them from the shaft. More importantly, a mechanical drawing device (pictured above) is used.
The pull should act on the inner ring or adjacent parts. The disassembly process can be simplified if a groove is reserved for the shoulder of the axle shoulder and the hole shoulder of the bearing seat to accommodate the puller.
In addition, some threaded holes are machined at the shoulder of the hole to facilitate the bolt to eject the bearings in addition to the middle (figure below).
Threaded hole
Large and medium bearings usually require more force than mechanical tools can provide. Therefore, it is recommended to use hydraulic booster or oil injection method, or both. This means that oil holes and grooves need to be designed on the shaft (figure below).
