The inner ring of the separating bearing is fixed by hand, and the outer ring is rotated. At the same time, the separating bearing should be replaced when the axial pressure is blocked or the clearance is obvious. Separation bearings are usually filled with grease at one time. Remove and clean at will during maintenance. If dirty, clean the surface with a clean cloth. Figure 1-19 shows.

5. Flywheel Maintenance
First, visual inspection is carried out to check whether the ring gear teeth are worn or beaten, whether the end face of the flywheel is ablated, grooved, warped and cracked, and if so, the flywheel should be repaired or replaced.
Check the bearing on the flywheel again. Rotate the bearing by hand. If there is blockage or obvious clearance, the bearing should be replaced. As shown in Figure 1-20.

Finally, check the circular runout of the end face of the flywheel. Install the dial gauge on the engine block, place the dial pin on the outer ring of the flywheel, rotate the flywheel and measure the circular runout of the end face of the flywheel, which should be less than 0.1mm. If the end circle runs beyond the standard, the flywheel should be repaired or replaced. As shown in Figure 1-21.
After the flywheel is disassembled, the connecting bolts should be replaced. When the flywheel is installed on the crankshaft, it should be tightened one by one according to the diagonal line with the specified moment.
