"I hope we can quit with an agreement," Jarvid told ITV television. "If we can't reach an agreement, I think it's important to quit anyway, and we can quit without an agreement. It's not perfect, but it's appropriate for us to quit on the 31st.
Jarvid repeatedly refused to explain how the government would achieve withdrawal without an agreement, as British law required the Prime Minister to postpone withdrawal under such circumstances.
"Legislation passed by Parliament certainly makes things more difficult, but we know that our own policies have not changed at all. We will leave on the 31st and the government is very focused on reaching a de-Europa agreement by October 31st," Javid said.
Jarvid said that we would not ask for an extension of the exit from Europe, and if no agreement was reached, we would take the next step.
Jarvid believes that there is still a possibility of a non-agreed exit on October 31. The government is trying to mitigate the impact of the non-agreed exit, and the economic response of the government is crucial in the absence of an agreement.
