John McDonnell, a finance spokesman for Britain's opposition Labour Party, said on Friday that Parliament's vote on Prime Minister Johnson's brexit deal on Saturday could be "very close" to passing.
Johnson's exit deal will be showdown in parliament on Saturday, and his last-minute agreement with the EU has met opposition from Northern Ireland's allies and opposition parties.
"I don't think it's going to pass, I think it's going to be rejected, but... The votes could be very close," McDonnell told Sky News.
