Yue Yucheng said that China and the United States have made great achievements through cooperation over the years. Why abandon the achievements of these cooperation?
But he also warned that China will not covet the development achievements of other countries, nor allow other countries to undermine China's stability and security, nor trade its core interests. No matter on land or at sea, no matter in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Xinjiang or Tibet, anyone should imagine that China will swallow the bitter fruit that will damage its own interests.
**"Sinister intention"**
After the US Congress passed a number of bills related to Hong Kong's anti-government protests, the Chinese Foreign Ministry last week accused US Congressmen of "sinister intentions" to undermine Hong Kong's prosperity and stability and hinder China's development.
