The Democratic Party is examining whether trump, in order to pressure Ukraine to carry out two investigations in his favor, abused the power of the president to withhold $391 million in military aid to Ukraine, which had been approved by the United States Congress to help American allies fight against Russian backed separatists in eastern Ukraine. The money was later provided to Ukraine.
