Volkswagen is speeding up its electric vehicle program, which now aims to reduce the time to reach its previous target of 1 million electric vehicles to two years. The German carmaker had previously planned to reach that milestone by 2025.
Now, Volkswagen has expressed its confidence in achieving this goal by the end of 2023. By the end of 2025, the company is expected to achieve the production target of 1.5 million electric vehicles, and models such as ID3 sold by Volkswagen's family will help drive this growth.
