NEWS: US helicopter crashes in the Philippine Sea

A US Navy MH-60 helicopter crashed in the Philippine Sea, the US Navy's Seventh Fleet said in a statement on the same day. Five crew members on board were rescued.
According to the Star Spangled Banner, the helicopter was "on a routine mission" at 5:15 p.m. local time on the 25th. The Seventh Fleet said in a statement that three of its crew members were transported by Japanese helicopters to the Okinawa naval hospital for evaluation, and the other two were able to return to the US Navy's "Blue Ridge" warship.
Reported that the Japanese maritime self defense force, the Japanese coast guard, two U.S. warships and the U.S. air force are involved in the search and rescue operations.
