January 28 - the World Health Organization (who) said Tuesday that China has agreed to send international experts to China "as soon as possible" to improve understanding of a new type of coronavirus and guide the global response to the epidemic.
In a statement, the World Health Organization pointed out that in order to make recommendations to other countries, it is urgently needed to better understand the interpersonal communication ability of the virus. After that, the director general of the organization, Tan Desai, conducted a two day visit to China, and met with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the Minister of health and foreign affairs.
In a statement, the World Health Organization said that Tan Desai could reconvene the WHO emergency committee in a very short period of time as needed. The statement made no mention of the evacuation of foreigners discussed in the Beijing talks.
