Novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak in March 16th has led to the failure of the factory to operate normally, and most of the plants in Europe will be shut down to March 27th, and its luxury brand Martha Lahti plant will also be shut down for two weeks, Fiat Chrysler announced. The closure of the plant mainly includes Fiat Chrysler's factories in Melfi, Italy and other cities, as well as in Serbia and Poland.
On the same day, Peugeot Citroen also announced the closure of its European plant until March 27. Renault announced that its factory in France was shut down, 12 production bases were closed and 18000 workers were required to go home. The specific date for the resumption of production was not determined. Renault also said that whether the company's production activities in other European countries can continue depends on the situation in that country.
