Her brother told CNN that a 57 year old northern California woman whose February 6 death had become the first known coronavirus related death in the United States was in relatively good health.
She's Patricia Dowd, a bay area woman who used to work as a manager at a semiconductor company and "exercise regularly, eat carefully, and take no medicine," the Los Angeles Times reported for the first time on Wednesday.
Dow's brother, Rick Cabello, told CNN that she did not smoke and was in good health.
"She was an athlete in high school and she was always active," Cabello said Wednesday Her sudden death shocked her family. They all think it's a heart attack, Cabello said.
