According to the latest comprehensive sales statistics of automobile market research branch of China Automobile Circulation Association, the sales volume of narrow sense passenger vehicle market in China in April reached 1.429 million, down 5.6% year-on-year and 36.6% month on month; the cumulative sales volume from January to April was 4.445 million, down 32.7% year on year.
The comprehensive sales volume express of April published on the website of the passenger Federation on Monday showed that the sales volume of new energy narrow sense passenger vehicles in April was 60000, down 29.9% year on year, up 9.8% month on month; the cumulative sales volume was 169000, down 49.6% year on year.
"In April, the effect of domestic resumption of production and market recovery is outstanding, and the consumption promotion policies of the state and local governments have been implemented. Since the first quarter, the consumer's accumulated willingness to consume has gradually transformed into the real demand for purchase. Therefore, compared with January, February and March, the new car retail in April achieved a V-shaped reversal," the press release said.
